Security

How do I secure the climbing frame to the ground?
To attach the climbing frame to the ground, we have ground anchors, ground anchors with a hexagonal head or H-anchors in our shop. Each main pillar can be attached to the ground with any of the three types of anchors.
Important: tilt climbing walls and climbing nets can only be attached to the ground with ground anchors with a hexagonal head.

For example for the playground showed below you need*:
- 4 Ground anchors with hexagonal head (2 per climbing wall). Here you cannot use ground anchors or H-anchors. The ground anchors prevent children from lifting up and breaking the climbing wall.
- 10 Ground anchors for all mail pillars.

Which anchors are better?
Ground anchors with hexagonal head
Advantage: Easy and fast.
Disadvantage: Stabilizes the bars only on one side. We recommend setting the ground anchors in concrete.

Ground anchors
Advantage: Stable. The beam is stabilized on all sides.
Disadvantage: More effort for climbing frames with a sandpit, the bottom shelves have to be attached to the ground anchor.

H-Anchor
Advantage: Very stable.
Disadvantage: More effort to attach. H-anchors should be put in concrete.  More effort for climbing frames with a sandpit, the bottom shelves have to be attached to the ground anchor.

How do I attach tilt components (climbing wall, ladder etc)?
For ladders and climbing walls you can NOT use ground anchors or H-anchors. Always use ground anchors with a hexagonal head.

Where do I place the safety tiles?*
- For each ladder 4 pc.
- For each slide 2 pc.
- For each swing, climbing net, rope ladder etc.  4-6 pc.
Note: This is recommended and not according to TÜV and CE. According to TÜV, the entire climbing frame needs to be surrounded with safety tiles.

Can I build the climbing frame differently than indicated on the manual?
We recommend not changing the formation of the main elements of the climbing frame. Our designers constructed the climbing frames to be stable and safe. If you make changes to this construction is at your own risk and this will affect the guarantee.
